Marcus (MJ) Lindsey
MGH Medical Physics Summer Diversity Fellow
Member of the lab: June to August 2022
About me: I earned a degree in Biophysics with honors at Claremont McKenna College in 2023. During undergrad, I had the privilege to work as a research fellow in b-lab, where I developed a software to calculate biologically weighted dose distributions for Y90 targeted radionuclide therapies. I have since began to pursue my Ph.D. in Medical Physics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, working in the Applied Radiochemistry Laboratory.
Research Interests: I am drawn to study the novel applications of radiopharmaceuticals and targeted radionuclides in nuclear medicine and radiation therapy. More recently, I have been exploring the application of radiopharmaceuticals in immuno-oncology, determining and characterizing ways in which radionuclides can increase the efficacy of immunotherapies and vice versa.
