At the Bertolet Lab, nestled within the Division of Physics in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Mass General Hospital and Harvard Medical School, we are always on the lookout for passionate and dedicated students who share our enthusiasm for advancing the field of radiation therapy and modeling in cancer care.
Short-term Visits for Ph.D. and M.Sc. Students:
We understand the value of diverse experiences and the fresh perspectives that come with them. That’s why we warmly welcome Ph.D. and M.Sc. students interested in short-term research stays. Over the past year, we’ve hosted 8-9 students from esteemed institutions such as ETH Zurich, Universidad de Sevilla, Universidad de Navarra, Auburn University, and the Catholic University of Korea. While we do not offer direct funding for these short-term visits, we encourage students to explore their own fellowships or funding mechanisms. Our doors are always open, and we are eager to work alongside you. So, if you’re considering an internship or research stay, don’t hesitate! Reach out to us and become a part of our vibrant research community.
Long-term Collaborations for Ph.D. Students:
For those looking at a more extended engagement, we offer opportunities for longer-term stays, which can be either fully or partially funded. These collaborations are tailored based on individual agreements with the student’s home university and mentors. We believe in the power of collaborative efforts and invite both students and mentors from other universities to get in touch with us. Let’s discuss how we can work together to further our shared goals in the realm of radiation therapy and cancer care modeling.
