We are pleased to announce two new collaborative publications from our team:

  1. Radioiodine Therapy in Canine Thyroid Cancer

Dr. Bertolet collaborated with Dr. Ibrahim Chamseddine and Dr. Charles Maitz from the University of Missouri on a recent publication in Veterinary and Comparative Oncology. This paper investigates preclinical studies in dogs, emphasizing how the distribution of iodine-131 influences therapeutic outcomes.

  1. Highly detailed vascular models for liver and dosimetry methods

Our postdoctoral researcher Carlos Huesa-Berral worked closely with Dr. Wesley Bolch’s group at the University of Florida, including Bobby Dawson, currently visiting our lab. Their article in Physics in Medicine & Biology explores refined dosimetry methods in hepatic radionuclide therapies, such as Y-90 radioembolization, aiming to improve radiation dose precision and therapeutic efficacy.

Congratulations to all authors for their impactful contributions to advancing radiopharmaceutical research!
