Debangana Mukhopadhyay, Ph.D.

Postdoctoral Fellow

Member of the lab: February 2025 –

About me: I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School, where I work in B Lab on tumor growth modeling. Previously, I held a postdoctoral position at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Department of Pediatrics, Ohio State University, focusing on computational modeling of NK and T cell signaling networks to understand immune responses to infection and cancer.

Research Interests: I earned my MSc in Physics from IIT Kanpur and a Ph.D. in Physical Sciences from IISER Kolkata, where I studied self-organization in tissue development and biofilm formation. My research interests lie at the intersection of computational biology, immunology, stochastic processes, and statistical physics, with a focus on developing predictive models for tumor progression and immune dynamics.
